Dick Penner Memorial Tournament

In the Spring of 2018, the community of Mitchell lost a great ambassador in Dick Penner. Dick was heavily involved in many aspects of the community, from owning the local gas station, his involvement in the Church, sitting on the Rural Municipality board and, of course, his impact on the sports teams in Mitchell. 

In honour of Dick Penner, we are excited to host the 5th Annual Dick Penner Memorial Tournament for U13 on November 22-24, 2024.

 

Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Mitchell Minor Hockey Association to benefit kids in our community by making hockey more affordable for all kids in the future!
